Surprisedly this video features a secular producer rebuking Holy Hip-Hop in the church.   Louis Rodger says that the church is loosing credibility.  Do you agree?  What does Holy Hip-Hop mean to the church? Is it helping grow the church? Is it even an effective tool?

Why are are we worried about what an unbeliever thinks? Spirit begets spirit. Dead men are not alive, therefore cannot comprehend the things of the Spirit. Not worth posting on HC. This is GOD's music. It was ALL meant to be used to glorify him. He created music. His opinion. HE'S A SINNER!!!! What does he know!? He's not TRYING to be drawn to CHRIST. This is foolish. Please remove this from the HC. real talk!

MAAAAAANN!!!!! YOU TOOK THE WORDS RIGHT OUT MY MOUTH!!!! "Every good and perfect gift is from above" right? Canton Jones in that video CLEARLY was giving praise to God!!! What……. satan is praisin God in the church now??? Thats what my interpretation was. Satan isn't going to give God praise AT ALL. Remember when the Pharisees accused Jesus of being BEELZEBUB casting out BEELZEBUB?? What was his response?? His response was "A HOUSE DIVIDED AGAINST ITSELF CANNOT STAND" in other words, Satan can't prreach "GOSPEL TRUTH" and lead people to hell at the same time. This is what ticks me off about Craig Lewis. He gives too much credit to evil spirits in music than the good/holyspirit in music. He says regardless of you just listening to beat and not the words of a secular song, the spirit of that song will enter you!!! Well doesn't the same apply with the spirit of God??? After all……. SATAN IS A COPYCAT!!!! God has a praise team> satan has his(secular artists). God has his ministers> satan has his(people that deliver his word). God has his church> satan has his(Church of Satan) God has a bible> Satan has his. God offers power through blood> so does satan. God has angelic hosts> Satan has fallen angelic hosts. Have we forgotten that Satans agenda from THE VERY BEGINNING was to be like God? Can Satan create???? NO HE CANNOT!!!!! HE CAN ONLY PERVERT WHAT GOD HAS ALREADY CREATED!! MAN HAS THE ABILITY TO CREATE BUT THAT ABILITY CAME FROM GOD!!!!! So….. who REALLY created rap??? God!! Rap was perverted and HipHop(self indulgence) was born.

I think the guy who was interviewed has misunderstood holy hip hop, Christian rap, Gospel rap whatever you want to call it, he has misunderstands it to a great degree. He says it doesn't belong in the church, well anyone who doesn't believe God can impact people with Gospel rap doesn't belong in the church either. I am a Gospel rap minister, and I have led groups of young people to Jesus after the songs were done. I have witnessed God's anointing touch people of different age groups in different ways all leading them to salvation or deliverance or some type of restoration because I spit gospel lyrics under God's anointing. The problem he is witnessing comes from the audience being babes in Christ and lack of intimacy with him. God iz using rap to reach the young generation. We just need truez (real men and women of God) to conduct themselves worthy of the Gospel so their character(their light through Christ) shines without compromise or conformity. The producer cat just hasn't seen that yet. There are some watered down, worldly so called Cristian rappers, he needs to know the difference, don't talk about what the church doesn't need though. – THA RAIN.

the biggest problem with him and other Christians who disagree with holy hip hop is that they are judging by what they see instead of looking at fruit. This movement has brought so many young people to Christ and its reaching people that traditional church is doing nothing for.Sorry but some of these people are running their mouth but they are offering nothing for the youth or the hood.this music is a bridge to connect young people and people in the clubs to Christ and its working.I understand how he feels but he has to realize thats his opinion the same way he aint feelin it there are thousands who are feelin. They always wanna talk about the dangers of this music I havent heard one case where this music has messed somebodies life up! when is all the bad stuff going to happen because of this music? its been over 15 years and Im still waiting for all these potential problems with holy hip hop to start materializing all this music is doing is leading people from the streets to Christ. of course they more than just music and they can get that from church attendance this music isn't the sum total of the Christian walk but it is a door and a bait that God is using. If you disagree with holy hip hop the reason why is simply because its not for you,but that dont mean that it s not for others everyone has to stay in their lane.I challenge you to truly examine the fruit of this movement before you dismiss it

Great dialog….. so here is the question: Can we quantify the effectiveness of Holy Hip-Hop? How can we measure the fruits we produce as a movement?
