Youngstown, OH hip-hop sensation, Carnival while preparing for the release for their upcoming album, “Population Of Invisible People” they had an unbelievable album release party in their hometown on Saturday July 25th playing to a packed crowd of over 400 people. Before the group came out to perform they world premiered the new music video for the single, “B.E.Z.” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UphON1ehY8g (Watch it on You Tube now!) and the crowd went into a frenzy! Family Christian Stores was there representing for Carnival and pre-selling the new album as well as signing people up for World Vision to be a sponsor. Then, the group along with a live band hit the stage and were nothing short of amazing and ending with an altar call to which hundreds of youth and adults alike received healing and restoration. Phoenix of Carnival said, “This was not planned it was simply the power of the Holy Spirit in full force!”
Carnival “Population Of Invisible People” will hit stores tomorrow on Tuesday July 28th and is expected to be one of the top releases this year. “The album will have many different styles everything from straight up street music, r&b sounds, to classic hip hop it’s really got something for everyone.” Says Supreme of Carnival. The album will be distributed by Infinity Music Distribution and you can pick it up at Family Christian Stores, Lifeway Christian Stores, Mardel Christian & Education Stores, as well as independent stores throughout the country.
Carnival have been playing at festivals this summer like Icthus Festival performing on the Edge Stage along-side artists like Grits, Sanctus Real, Skillet, and This Beautiful Republic. As well as conferences like the Issachar Conference performing on the stage with Judah Camp Choir, Deitrick Haddon, Damita Haddon, and Canton Jones.
At the International Christian Retail Show on July 12th-15th in Denver, CO Carnival gave away an i-pod filled with the entire new album, “Population Of Invisible People” as well as an autographed poster of the group.
