Virginia Beach, VA (KWR) July 14th, 2009 – “A young Christian artist is flooding the underground scene with positive music. He’s pulling at risk youths out of the streets using the very thing that the young generation gravitate to…Hip Hop” was the first paragraph that Kingdom World Records released in early June, 09, announcing the new entrant of Christian Hip Hop artist known as Hollywood Holly, whose album was scheduled to drop on June 27th.
The much anticipated album, CBF Da Movement Vol.1 dropped and The Glory of God filled the building. After Hollywood Holly ministered the last song, “Rapture,” Co-pastor of Kingdom World Outreach Center, and brother of Hollywood Holly, Chris Mitchell Jr. invited those who wanted a relationship with Jesus. Five people responded, walked in front of the stage and surrendered their lives to God. Tymeika Wright, on of the young ladies who received salvation had this to say. “It was something I had been contemplating for years, but after listening to Hollywood Holly’s song, Rapture, it gave me that extra push to take that leap.” Baptism is scheduled for early August, 09.
