Living in Purpose: From Mainstream to Gospel Music with the Grammy Award-Winning Crystal Nicole and Q Parker
Living in Purpose: A Deep Dive with DJ Focus and Dice Gamble
On this episode of Da Fixx Radio Show we have a real talk conversation about living in purpose, and we’re thrilled to share the insights from that discussion with you. We also have an awe-inspiring spiritual detox segment with Grammy Award-winning artists Crystal Nicole and Q Parker from the legendary group 112.
A Conversation with Grammy Winners
In this episode, we had the privilege of sitting down with Grammy-winning songwriter Crystal Nicole and Grammy-winning artist and producer Q Parker from the legendary group 112. We delved into their faith journeys and how they found their purpose in music. Their stories were inspiring, and we hope you’ll find them as enlightening as we did.
The Birth of a Collaboration
Crystal Nicole and Q Parker have known each other for 15 years, and have always wanted to work together. They’ve written songs together in the past, but we’ve never released a fully collaborated song until now. We discussed their collaboration on the track “Silent Night Hush Remix,” a project they’ve been sitting on for three years. After playing the track for their families and other artists at a gathering, they decided it was time to release it. They’re excited about finally sharing this song with the world.
The Power of Music
We also discussed the therapeutic power of music, especially during the holiday season. A song like “Silent Night (Hush Remix)” can inspire and bring comfort to those who may be struggling. We touched on our personal experiences with loss during the holidays and how music helps us cope. We also discussed the changes in the church due to the pandemic and the need to focus on spirituality rather than just entertainment.
Accountability and Spiritual Check-ins
Living in God’s purpose requires accountability and spiritual check-ins. We discussed the importance of having accountability partners who can help keep us balanced and on the right path. We also emphasized the need for spiritual check-ins and evaluating oneself to ensure alignment with God’s will. We mentioned a book that has been influential in our lives, “The Purpose Driven Life” by Rick Warren, which emphasizes the significance of accountability and spiritual growth in living a purposeful life.
Living in Purpose
One of our favorite moments is when something unexpected happens, like dropping a drink or tripping, as it reminds us to pay attention and be present in the moment. We also talked about the law of energy, which states that energy is neither created nor destroyed, and how it aligns with our belief in God’s creation. We emphasized the importance of using our energy, voice, and prayers to push away negative things and attract positive things in our lives.
The Power of Change
We discussed the power of change and the freedom we have to make choices in our lives. We shared personal experiences of how we have overcome challenges and made significant changes in our lives with God’s help. We encouraged listeners to trust in God’s power and to let go of their own ideas of what their life should look like. We emphasized the simplicity of living a purpose-driven life when we surrender to God’s will and trust in His guidance.
We concluded the episode by reflecting on the tips we gave out during the show and expressing our excitement about the impact it had on our listeners. We encouraged our audience to trust in God and find their purpose in life, believing that knowing one’s purpose can make life easier and help overcome challenges.
