An eclectic group of poets, emcees, and producers consisting of Saelah, Preppy, and Noble Vessel, three friends who share the common bonds of music, faith, culture, and being black men in America. Accordingly, the group and their subsequent debut album, “The Spirit of Soul City,” was created in light of each member’s journey creatively and spiritually over the past decade amidst a polarizing religious, political, and social climate. Drawing upon artistic influences that range from the Soulquarians to Native Tounges, to Little Brother to Theory Hazit to Sho Baraka, Xoul City has and continues to produce content reminiscent of a more organic, conscious, & fun-loving era of music while still infusing their styles and flavor. The same applies to recent collaborations with like-minded artists such as singer-songwriters like Jarard Kenneth, Mozel, Joshua Mac, and newcomer Ashlie Jaie, as well as veteran emcee Izzy Serious. Stay tuned for more music to come.
