Savannah Brister releases her debut EP, “Fix It,” dripping with soulful vocals and vulnerable lyrics

On July 12, 2024, Savannah Brister will release, “Fix It,” a candid, 5-song EP inviting you into her conversations with Jesus.
“Fix It” is “unveiling, human—grasping for hope while doubting its existence,” says Memphis-based Brister when describing the project. While her sugar-coated vocals and jazz influences lace through each song, the lyrics remind you of how fragile our faith can be. The 23-year-old singer-songwriter says this project was birthed out of a season of deep depression and was her lifeline to pull her out of the dark period. “I’d spent all of my energy trying to hide my pain from Him [Jesus] and everyone else,” quotes Brister, “but as He caught each tear that fell, I was reminded how much He loves being involved in the mess.” Released as her first EP, Savannah hopes that her listeners will fall into the arms of Jesus instead of fighting their embrace.
Savannah appeared on Season 16 of The Voice (John Legend’s team), during which USA Today deemed her “goosebump worthy.” She was also awarded a Hollywood Music In Media award in 2021 for her song, “Dear World,” and is currently nominated for an HIMA for the last song on the EP, “By My Side.”
“Fix It” will be available on all major streaming platforms on July 12, 2024.
