MAN UP Club Founder XROSS Receives Community Champion Award

Published on August 22, 2024

Man Up Club Founder XROSS aka Mr. Korey Dean, received a Community Champion Award at The Greg Coleman Celebrity Golf Tournament recently. The award celebrates his contributions to the empowerment and mentorship of young black men within his community.

Dean’s work through the nonprofit has touched the lives of countless black men, and now through his show “The Man Up Club Presents,” he can now reach even more with his thought provoking conversation with his young co-hosts.

Dean is quoted as saying ” I didn’t know until somebody asked me to dig deep as to why I started the man up club. When I started to think about it, I recognized that I was serving myself as a young kid who grew up in poverty and who also grew up without a father, and who understood the importance of a mentor.”

He continues on to say, “We don’t do this alone. This is not an award I get alone. This award comes with so many volunteers, and so many people from the community. Being able to stand on the shoulders of honorable gentlemen such as Greg Colemen.”

Congratulations brother from us to you. May the Lord bless you and your organization to continue touching the lives of these young black men.
