Hulvey released the video to “True,” the latest from his upcoming Cry album over the weekend. The “All for You” artist said this about the song.

The video, directed by Ade O Adesina ‘Adelight,’ is a heartbreaking depiction of a man who has lost the love of his life and, with it, the will to live. A look at a not-too-distant future, he asks a computer if he will ever be whole again as he replays over and over images of the happiest times in his life.

The lyrics reflect a love that is pure, true, and worth fighting for—a love without which we are lost. This can be said of our earthly love for each other and God’s perfect agape.

In the end, Hulvey reminds us of Romans 8:38-39, putting the spotlight back on God and ending with a hopeful message.
