PRESS RELEASE: Legin releases God Is Iconic: Deluxe album.
After sharing the stage with Rotimi for Pharrell’s ‘Something In The Water’ make up event earlier this month, Virginia-based musician turned motivational speaker Legin liberates the Deluxe version of his well received God Is Iconic EP which dropped back in February via RMG Amplify / Vydia.
In a world seeking attention, Legin’s God is Iconic: Deluxe shines as a transformative musical experience. This album explores the depths of human struggle while celebrating God as a beacon of hope. Featuring instrumentation by his live band The Last Take, Grammy-winner Derek Minor, “Bodak Yellow” producer Laquan Green, Xavier Omär collaborator Cardec Drums, and in-house sound engineer Ben Mekkes as well as guest vocals from Elle Sharpe, Billy Mercury, and Dee Evans; the cohesive collection of songs blend energetic beats with introspective moments designed to uplift.
On this updated edition, Legin adds even more depth to an already impactful project with four new tracks that push the boundaries of Hip-Hop. Expect cinematic soundscapes, anthems for your next road trip, thought-provoking lyricism, and the kind of feel-good production that sticks with you long after the music stops.
Legin is a dynamic artist and speaker dedicated to inspiring personal and professional growth. His stage name, which spells his first name Nigel backward, reflects the profound turnaround God brought to his life. Known for his impactful presence on stages across the U.S., Kenya, South Africa, and the U.K., he combines his experience as an artist with his expertise as a John Maxwell certified speaker to drive change and empowerment.
His musical journey has been equally influential, with his latest release, God Is Iconic: Deluxe (2024), marking his biggest project to date. Previous releases like the Rooftop Prophet EP (2023), the widely streamed “In Awe” (2021), and “Stop” (2022), which premiered on REVOLT TV, have all contributed to his growing fanbase and reputation as an artist who speaks to both the heart and the culture.
He shares motivational insights at schools, prisons, conferences, and communities, offering practical advice and encouragement. He’s also committed to social impact through his work as the co-founder of the Safe House Project, which strives to eradicate human trafficking in America by 2030.
In addition to his speaking and advocacy work, Legin hosts the growing Legin Podcast, where he dives into conversations on faith, life, and culture with diverse voices. Based in Virginia Beach, Legin is dedicated to his family and balances his personal and professional life with a passion for helping others find hope, healing, and purpose.
