Milwaukee, Wisconsin native Jupiter Calvin Kroupa, better known as JC Kroupa, is on a mission to become the first major artist to rise from his humble hometown. Launching his music career from a place of heartache, Kroupa’s debut single, “Nicole,” served as a poignant response to personal betrayal and marked the beginning of a journey through music that chronicles his struggles while spreading joy and laughter through his artistry.
In January 2018, Kroupa released his first amateur project, Face to Face, followed just four months later by the ambitious 23-track Milwaukee Mixtape (Abridged Version), establishing the then-20-year-old as a standout lyricist. Later that year, his Spirit EP, released in October, showcased a broader appeal with pop-ready sounds, cementing his potential to thrive in a competitive industry.
The following year, Kroupa’s sophomore EP, Son, dropped on February 1, 2019. This deeply introspective project reflected the profound impact of his mother’s passing weeks prior. In autumn 2019, he unveiled the double-single Titan, featuring the thought-provoking “False Gods” and the powerful “Bad Guy.” These tracks, along with “All Night,” set the stage for his highly anticipated King Kroupa Mixtape, released at the close of 2019.
Kroupa continued to build on his momentum with the release of his Father EP on May 1, 2020, completing his “Trinity” project. These works were later compiled into The Sunset Tape, showcasing his growth as an artist. On November 6, 2020, Kroupa released his debut album, HALF A CLOUD, to critical acclaim, further solidifying his place in the Christian music industry.
Now, with his eyes set on the future, JC Kroupa is hinting at a 2025 release for his highly anticipated sophomore album, promising to deliver yet another chapter of artistry and authenticity. In the meantime, find his newest single, London, available wherever you stream music on January 24, 2025.
