I am beyond excited to share that IAM4GIVEN highly anticipated new album, “Hope For The Streets,” is set to drop on 04/18/2025 This project has been a labor of love, and I cannot wait for you to hear it.

“Hope For The Streets” is more than just an album; it’s a movement. It speaks directly to those who feel marginalized or lost, offering a beacon of hope to the hopeless. Through powerful storytelling and relatable lyrics, this Christian Hip Hop album reaches out to individuals living on the fringes of society—dope boys, prostitutes, and the new generation of youth. It’s a message of redemption, love, and the unwavering grace of God.

This project is dedicated to connecting with those who may feel alienated from traditional faith-based communities. It’s a reminder that no one is beyond the reach of God’s mercy if we believe and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. My hope is that the messages within these tracks will uplift and encourage everyone to recognize their worth as children of God and to find their path to healing and growth.

Vincent Barnes Jr, aka IAM4GIVEN, was born on April 13th, 1988, in Miami, Florida, to a single mother of four. He grew up in neighborhoods characterized by crime, poverty, and violence. He began writing music at age 7 to cope with the challenges he experienced growing up in the inner cities. As a child, he suffered from depression, anxiety, feelings of rejection, and isolation and sought refuge in hip-hop music. During this time, he thought his happiness lay in success as a mainstream hip-hop artist, material pursuits, and women.

At the age of 20, he moved to ATL for 10 years, pursuing his hip-hop music career. Then, the sudden death of his grandfather in 2011 sent IAM4GIVEN into a downward spiral. He fell into a deep depression and was full of rage and anger. Music wasn't enough to help him through. That's when he began trying to develop a relationship with Christ. God spoke to him and told him that he needed to heal his brokenness and needed to move back to Florida and reconnect with his biological father. He listened to the Lord's call and moved to Naples, Florida, to rekindle the relationship with his father. Within a year, he found a permanent church home and rededicated his life to Christ. He shed his worldly pursuits and started focusing on channeling his spiritual growth.

As time passed, Vincent's relationship with his biological father grew stronger, and God began to work miraculously in his life. In 2019, he released his very first gospel album self-titled "4Given". Within that same year, he released his 2nd album "The Gospel". And God began to bless him unimaginably with his beautiful wife who’s a warrior for the Lord. Later that year, he emerged victorious in the "Taking The City" gospel showcase, cementing his place in the world of gospel music. In 2021, IAM4GIVEN released his 3rd album "Choices". His talent and dedication were recognized further with nominations at the Tampa Bay Gospel Hip Hop Artist Nominee in 2022, the Rhythm Of Gospel Music Awards Nominee in 2023, and the Florida Gospel Music Award & Gospel Choice Awards Nominee in 2024.

Vincent's mission and purpose in life are clear - to uplift and inspire others, bringing them closer to Christ through the power of his music. His ultimate goal is to touch the hearts of individuals, one soul at a time, as he spreads the message of the Gospel. With unwavering determination and a renewed spirit, Vincent Barnes Jr, IAM4GIVEN, is on a mission to make a difference in the world and leave a lasting impact.
