Holy Culture Records Drops ThIs Is Worship

Holy Culture Records was launched in July 2023 as a companion to the broader mission of Holy Culture—a non-profit rooted in faith, culture, and community. From the beginning, the artists who joined the label did so with clear eyes and open hearts, knowing we were building the plane while flying it—learning, adjusting, and trusting God in real time.

By 2025, something had shifted. The label became more unified, more focused, and more deeply committed to stewarding what God had placed before us. The community moved from an idea to an operating posture. We leaned into proximity, presence, and shared formation—not just as a means to create music, but as a way of being.

Out of that posture, a vision emerged: a community-led project that would be timeless, bridge the sonic worlds of hip hop, gospel, and contemporary music, and ultimately usher listeners into worship.

With Marv4MoBeats at the production helm and an intentional team effort to cultivate an atmosphere reminiscent of the early church in Acts, Baruch, Craig Watson, Pastor Charles A.R., Omega Sparx, and Joshua Penn gathered at the Holy Culture offices for three days—not primarily to make an album, but to be together.

The project was always present but peripheral. The center was community—praying together, sharing openly, bearing one another’s burdens, and wrestling honestly with individual and collective challenges. Other artists joined simply to be part of the space, to listen, encourage, and pour in, including J Silas, King Cyz, B.E.R.I.D.O.X., and Neophytemuziq.

What you hear on this album is not just a collection of songs. It is the outpouring of time spent together. It is the sound of unity forged in presence. It is worship born from community.
