Rebecca Lauren Katherine Folkes, known as ‘Becca Folkes’, is a singer/songwriter hailing from Essex, Greater London. With only 3/4 years under her belt, she continues to make an indelible mark on the UK Gospel scene with her fashion sense, distinctive vocals & relevant sound.

Born and bred in The Church Of God In Christ (COGIC), she has always been involved in music ministry. From the NGoH (New Generation of Hope) choir to stepping into the role of ‘Worship Leader’ at her home church, she now leads the National Youth P&W Team fearlessly.

At present Becca ministers in London and across Europe, passionate to share the message of Christ to all people in a real and relevant way. “In My Own Words”, her second studio EP, has touched many hearts and reached many people through sales and radio play.

Becca is a Premier Gospel, UEA, and Wise Woman Award nominee. She is also the proud recipient of the 2016 GXMMA ‘New Comer’ & ‘Female Afro Beat’ Awards.

Due in 2018, her 3rd studio EP, The Trilogy, is a mere extension of any music she’s released thus far. With her most personal songs yet, she looks to shed light on some of her uphill battles and most vulnerable moments. Wherever the platform, she looks to exalt the name of Jesus.

Becca has also written a 7-day devotional plan with the world-renowned bible app ‘YouVersion’. In said devotional, she talks about her experience as a survivor of molestation & hopes to shed light on some of the things she had to realize on her journey to healing. Available now, the devotional, ‘The Importance of The Experience: The Survivors Guide’, has blessed many and in time, millions.
