That very same year RAS was led to devote his entire life to doing God’s will, and in early 1996 he signed with a Texas-based Christian Hip Hop label called Grapetree Records (EMI). RAS became the leading artist for the label and by 2000 Grapetree Records became the number one Christian Hip Hop recording label in the world (based on notoriety and sells).
