Michael Peace Returns To CHH

Michael Peace returns to CHH after a 20-year absence with his new single, “Bring Me Home,” marking a powerful comeback for one of Christian hip-hop’s foundational voices. Often hailed as the “Grandfather of Christian hip hop,” Peace helped pioneer the genre in the 1980s with albums like RRRock It Right and Loud-N-Clear. Now, after decades focused on ministry and youth development in Rochester, NY, he steps back into the studio spotlight.

“Bring Me Home” is a soulful blend of old-school hip-hop and gospel, featuring the stirring vocals of Esther Kim. Produced by Tones Studios, the track bridges generations—delivering lyrics that are both prophetic and pastoral. It’s a testament to Peace’s enduring mission: using music as a vessel for faith and transformation.

Beyond music, Peace’s legacy includes founding Bethel Express of AMERICA, a faith-based youth ministry serving urban children. His commitment to “minister by faith,” often accepting modest fees for performances, set him apart as a servant-leader in the CHH community.

“Bring Me Home” isn’t just a song—it’s a homecoming. It reminds us that while trends shift, the heart of the message remains: hope, redemption, and the power of faith-driven art.
