adamariz proclaims that she “STILL GOT FAITH” on last single before her new album
Published on August 23, 2024
adamariz presents a reimagined version of “FAITH” which was released under her previous artist name, longliveadamariz, in 2017. “STILL GOT FAITH”, produced by adamariz, features a similar hook but a brand new and innovative verse. Much like the original version, she keeps the raps simple yet the flow is still as captivating. The overall message leans on Ephesians 6:11 which talks about the armor of God. Except instead of having the shield of faith, she keeps her faith in a bag. As humorous as it may sound, this is also a reference to Dora, who like most Hispanic/Latin children raised during the peak popularity of that show, were compared to Dora at some point. Adamariz has been asked before what the hook meant, and previously she would just say, “it’s about carrying your faith everywhere you go.” However as the album approaches she wants to make sure the message of every song on the album is clear. This song is meant to uplift and encourage those who are lacking faith. At the end adamariz repeats, “Look at that, not who I was in the past”. This shows not only the growth in her walk, but in her artistry as well. The background vocals add another layer of the intriguing feeling of newness. With the original song having such a memorable moment she will be reimagining merch for it as well. Along with that adamariz has officially announced “FINDING AGATHOS (LOST ERA)”, is set to release September 6 and a deluxe version will be released later this year. Although an official tracklist is yet to be released, “FINDING AGATHOS (LOST ERA)” is set to have 13 tracks, and the deluxe was said to have 25 tracks. Not much else is known about the album except for the previously released singles this year, “LIFT ME UP (I’M CHOSEN)”, “SAVIOR”, “HOLY”, “SOLO TU”, “AGRADECIDA”, and “STILL GOT FAITH”. The tone has definitely been set for the upcoming album release and “STILL GOT FAITH”, is sure to set the tone for what adamariz referred to as the “agathos side” of the album.
