adamariz has officially released her first full length album titled “FINDING AGATHOS”. As the cover insinuates, this is an album about finding the goodness of God. Adamariz describes the album as the journey of her life as she found the goodness of God in it, starting from around August 2021 to present. Some of the songs on this album were released under her previous artist name “longliveadamariz”, which she shortened to “adamariz” in 2022, for various reasons. One of those reasons was she felt she was stepping into a new season, specifically one of growth, something that she has seen firsthand. Throughout the album we see the growth, artistically and spiritually. In the first part of the album “(LOST ERA)”, we hear a majority of those older songs, remastered, but symbolizing adamariz attempting to find that goodness of God in her life. We see her battle doubts, mental health, hurt, forgiveness, and letting go of many things. As she begins to praise in the midst of the battles on songs such as “SOLO TU”, “HOLY”, and “HOLY (REMIX)”, we see a shift occur. We’re left with “HOLD ON”, telling the listener to wait and see what happens, but also to encourage those going through similar situations to have hope. In the second part of the album we see many features, and 9 new songs, 2 of which are considered bonus tracks. We start off where we left off but with a remixed verse from adamariz on “HOLD ON (REMIX)”. Adamariz then begins to declare things in her life, based on biblical truths. We also see adamariz go against rivalry in the female CHH realm, with the song “LOST & FOUND”, by saying “I got my sisters in Christ with me”. Adamariz said inspiration for the song came from a message from Marty (from Social Club Misfits), and “PRAISE” by WHATUPRG. Adamariz had previously mentioned she had wanted to collaborate with women in the CHH space after realizing she hadn’t late last year. One of her goals for the album was to have a cypher style song, and she did just that and featured 4 amazing female rappers. From there adamariz finds refuge under His “WINGS”, declares that she “FOUND [HERSELF]”, and remembers that despite trials “HE AIN’T GO AWAY”, on a remixed version of the 2021 single not only featuring A3 but Mvkeyyj. Adamariz ends the album remembering her blessings and saying she is grateful. Just when you think “oh that’s it”, we hear NOT KLYDE, on “PROMO”, the first bonus track, which was never planned to be on the album. This song was added while adamariz was waiting on “LOST & FOUND” to be completed. Originally, DEON’s song, adamariz acquired it and ran with it, bringing along frequent collaborator, Jericko. Feeling inspired off of “PROMO”, adamariz made an additional bonus track “WORK 4 IT”, featuring FOEVA and Caleb Fields. These 2 songs are hype, and about working for God not man. On the CD version of the album there are an additional 5 tracks that are demo’s for an upcoming project. The album was also available early digitally via EVEN & Bandcamp but of those 2 only EVEN had the 5 demo’s as well. To those who got to experience the album early, FINDING AGATHOS, was described as different, introspective, crazy, collaborative, innovative, and unique.
