Aasha Marie Connects with A.I. The Anomaly for “Let’s Feast” Visual
It’s not everyday that an artist drops an unforgettable track at our feet BUT Aasha Marie did just that with her release, “Let’s Feast” and now the visual for it is here.
The track is produced by Epik The Dawn and features A.I. The Anomaly but that’s not even the best part! The visual for “Let’s Feast” was filmed and edited by A.I.’s 13-year-old son, Isaac — yes, our minds are blown too.
“Let’s Feast” is off of Aasha’s latest album, WYWS and is definitely a fan favorite. According to Aasha, the track has a very important meaning behind it:
“The meaning behind the song is based on 1 Corinthians 3:1-3. But I, brothers, could not address you as spiritual people, but as people of the flesh, as infants in Christ. I fed you with milk, not solid food, for you were not ready for it. And even now you are not yet ready, for you are still of the flesh. For while there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not of the flesh and behaving only in a human way?
Paul is addressing the church of Corinth rebuking them. They are acting in their flesh and not through the Spirit, they are behaving in a very elementary (milky) way and not a mature (meat/solid food) way. Our digestion/application of God’s Word and view of the Lordship of Christ reflects in the way we live our lives and treat each other. Therefore we are still on milk when we live as immature Christians and not ready for meat/solid food, i.e. the more mature way we should live and honor each other. The song calls us to dig deeper into the rich truths of Christ and FEAST on His Word so we can GROW.”
