Jackie Hill Perry X Sondae’s “Psalms 88” is a feast for the eyes.

While we are here for her bars, this video is a whole vibe. Not only does the black and white lend itself to the gravitas of the story telling, but the symbolism of the knives, the bullseye and the crown of thorns take this thing to another level!

Sondae’s beautiful voice breaks the tension giving us moments of worship that balance out the track perfectly. Truly a masterpiece of cinematography and one of the best IF not best videos I’ve seen all year.
