Joshua Anthony From Politics To Comedy

Christian content creator and stand-up comedian Joshua Anthony pulled up to the Fresh Leftovers Radio Show with Legacy the Prince, Queen Lee, and DJ B4U for a conversation that covered way more ground than anyone expected.

Joshua opened up about his first headlining comedy show at Atlanta’s City Hall, where he sold out three times, packed 200 people into the room, and delivered an hour-long set after only having performed three times before. The show wasn’t just entertainment — a man approached him afterward and told Joshua that if he hadn’t come that night, he would have taken his own life.

From there, the crew got into Joshua’s upcoming comedy tour hitting Raleigh, Albany, the DMV, Chicago, and Orlando, where he’s aiming to pack a 1,500-seat theater on Halloween night. He broke down his ground-level approach to pushing tickets, his plan to plant roots in every city he visits, and why God called him out of politics and onto the stage.

The episode also featured Joshua’s wild story about a married admirer who emailed him poetry, showed up to his events in disguise, and whose husband eventually reached out — plus the reveal that Joshua has been quietly in a relationship for a year that nobody saw coming.
