Lamar Riddick – Too Much

Repping metropolitan West Virginia, Lamar Riddick is proving his neck of the woods can lay down bars on high-energy tracks. He will be continuing his grind with his new single, “Too Much,” which releases May 21st. Lamar Riddick is a Christian Hip-Hop artist aiming to revive the present-day culture and the music industry through entertaining and change eliciting music. In 2020, he earned the best indie Hip-Hop artist award from the Eddy Awards and released two of his most popular tracks, “Crae” and “Run With Ahmaud.” Now, Riddick is striving to strengthen his lyrical ability, grow his fanbase, and spread the love of Jesus.

Riddick is consistent with his bangers, and “Too Much” is no different! Never settling on one cadence, Riddick flexes his ability to maneuver his bars on a single beat. Eli Williams produced the track, working with Riddick step-by-step to create a song that captures listeners’ attention with its continuously changing beat. While Riddick is rapping bars, he is communicating the wonderful characteristic of God’s over-abundant grace. No matter how we mess up or who rises against us, God is always working to help Christians grow.

“‘Too Much’ talks about the abundance of grace that God gives to us even though we don’t deserve any of it. Even if you are treated unfairly, grew up in a bad area, or endured any trial, just know that His grace is sufficient and that he will complete the work started in us,”

Riddick said.
