Miles Minnick x Lecrae on Sway “We Got Something Special”

Lecrae and Miles Minnick lit up Sway in the Morning with more than just fire freestyles—they came bearing big news: their collaborative album Get Well Soon is officially on the way, set to drop this May.

The two artists shared how the project came together organically. After Lecrae tapped Miles to feature on their March 15th single “Heaven Sent”—a track they later performed live at Rolling Loud California—the chemistry was undeniable. One record led to another, and soon the idea for a full project was born.

“Let’s just do a whole project,” Lecrae recalled saying after hearing Miles’ quick and powerful verse. And just like that, Get Well Soon became a reality. The album will be released in partnership between Reach Records and Miles’ Glow Empire—what Lecrae jokingly called “a Holy Conglomerate Association of God in Christ.”

During the interview, Lecrae, a four-time Grammy winner, praised Miles for his hunger, humility, and speed. “Some of these new cats are my favorite rappers now,” Lecrae said. “I just want to use what I’ve built to help them shine.”

Miles echoed the admiration, sharing how Lecrae’s mentorship has inspired him to pour into others in the same way: “I refuse to get all these blessings and hoard them for myself.”

With Lecrae’s legacy and Miles’ momentum, Get Well Soon promises to be a culture-shifting project filled with purpose, faith, and West Coast flavor. If “Heaven Sent” was the alley-oop, this album is the slam dunk.

Stay tuned—the kingdom collab we didn’t know we needed is almost here, check out the full of interview with Sway here.
