“Spirit Lead”-New music video drops from Altar’ed Ego and Godshwhill 

The Christian rap and hip hop charts were graced with a fresh new track. This song is on the more mellow side. That is a refreshing change of pace for this genre of music. We all know Christian rap and hip hop to be profound and very high energy. This song veers away from that in a way. While the music is subtle and a bit gentler, you definitely take notice of it. 

This in turn leaves you to focus on the lyrics. In every song this is a means of conveying any number of messages, thoughts, and ideals. In the case of this song, those would be praise for the Lord as well as having the presence of the Holy Spirit. The opening lyrics are “I’m going to ask the Holy spirit lead…” very profound from the start. 

A message that can be applied to our everyday lives. We all seeking guidance in these turbulent times. There’s none better than the Holy spirit to assist us. That spiritual connection, or guide from God Himself. If we want to not only survive, but be led down the right path, these are words we should take to heart. Songs like this one are often overlooked and they shouldn’t be. The lyrics alone are capable of influencing the public in a positive way. 

Being that this is a music video, it’s not only a notable song. The video itself has some amazing visuals that really stand out to the viewers. This collaboration is astounding and should be praised for what it is. That would be more than a great track to listen to, but a song capable of inspiring change amongst the population.
