Why B-Plus Love’s CHH
This was a very inspirational episode of the Be Positive Radio Show. It started off with the countdown and recap of some great songs. Some of the ones featured in the countdown were ‘Bounce Back ‘ by Wes Harris and Sara Nathalie. ‘Born For This’ by Social Club Misfits and Evvie McKinney. ‘All Mine’ by Trip Lee and Taylor Hill. ‘I’s on Him’ by Jay Violet and Battz. ‘Nights in Atlanta’ by Da’ T.R.U.T.H
That is a great lineup of songs. They are very popular and go with the theme of the show. The reason this episode is inspirational is that it not only focuses on the music. DJ B Plus also shared insightful narratives and scriptures to inspire you and guide you.
The narrative featured an interesting conversation with an airline pilot. The pilot showed how even though he hadn’t flown in years, he still had knowledge from that job that would stay with him throughout his life. As B Plus points out, the same is true of us. We can’t obtain biblical knowledge overnight. We must spend time, sometimes years studying and imprinting everything into our memory.
It takes a very long time to be able to develop true faith and have it be like second nature for us. Some scriptures were shared after this story. Those would be Romans 3:5-6. These are very powerful scriptures. They tell us how our life experiences can be difficult. At times they make us stronger, especially in our faith. Reading stories, scriptures, and even listening to shows like these can go a long way in building up our faith. That was the point of this talk.
The musical countdown continues after that with: ‘Big’ by Lecrae and Miles Bennett. ‘Gumbo’ by Big Breeze and Porsha Love. ‘Talking My Flow’ By Childlike CiCi and 1K Phew.
The end segment features the story of how B Plus came to love Christian Hip Hop. It was his older brother who introduced him to this genre in the early 90s. B Plus indeed thanks his brother for that during the segment. The final song played is ‘Go Back’ By Madison Ryan Ward. Not only is this episode uplifting and inspirational. It’s also nostalgic and touching because of the shoutout to his brother.
