Color of Change
Color of Change is a progressive nonprofit civil rights advocacy organization in the United States. It was formed in 2005 in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in order to use online resources to strengthen the political voice of African Americans.  It was founded by James Rucker and Van Jones.
Their Mission:
“Color Of Change is the nation’s largest online racial justice organization.
We help people respond effectively to injustice in the world around us. As a national online force driven by 1.7 million members, we move decision-makers in corporations and government to create a more human and less hostile world for Black people in America.”
Through the Color of Change, you can join active petitions or create new ones, as well as get invited to take online actions and participate at in-person events you can join to stand up for racial justice.
