In these challenging times, it’s crucial to dig deep and understand the true meaning of faith. I referenced Romans 5:3-4 and Ephesians 6:16 to remind us all to hold firm to our faith during times of trouble.

Understanding the Music Industry

The conversation then shifted to the music industry, where I mentioned Dan Runcie’s insightful analysis of the hip hop industry. I highly recommend reading his article on Trapital, where he highlights the importance of understanding the different income sources for artists beyond streaming, such as merch and touring.

The Need for More Gritty Christian Hip Hop

We also addressed a conversation on Instagram about the lack of gritty Christian hip hop on the radio. I acknowledged the need to play more of this style and the challenge of keeping up with the large volume of new music releases.

Tips for Young Professionals

2. Establish Good Daily Habits: This includes managing energy, consuming valuable content, and starting the day in a positive way.
3. Develop Skills: Distinguish yourself in your chosen field with both hard skills and soft skills.
4. Accept Feedback: Learn to accept feedback and act upon it. Be open to improving yourself.
5. Maintain a Work-Life Balance: This is crucial for overall well-being and productivity.
6. Identify Ways to Collaborate: By collaborating you leverage other peoples wisdom and you get somebody to work with you that has the same level of desire to see the success that you want to see.
7. Manage Your Professional Reputation: Make it so when your name comes up, there are certain things that are said about you that you want to be said about you.
