The Kingdom Minded Show Celebrates 10 Years of Being On Peoria Radio
Peoria, IL

On Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 1:00 pm CST, The Kingdom Minded Show, hosted by Brian “DJ3W the Water Walkin’ Warrior” Culshaw, took to the airwaves on 90.7 FM WAZU Peoria, AKA Strictly Hip Hop 90.7 FM. This year they are celebrating 10 years of being on the air in Peoria, IL. The Kingdom Minded Show is a music driven journey through Christian hip hop and R&B that will encourage, inspire, and challenge you to be more Kingdom Minded.

With the help of Robbie Criss, a friend and initial co-host, DJ3W kicked off the show with a song called “Music of Life” by Sho Baraka, and has not looked back. There were not many radio stations nation-wide playing Christian hip-hop (CHH), so the groundbreaking show was ahead of its time. While there are more internet stations playing CHH now, it’s still quite rare to be heard on a terrestrial radio. Since 2010, the show has opened many doors for DJ3W to interview artists, host events, and DJ for the very artists whose music is played.

The Kingdom Minded Show airs Sundays at 2 PM on Strictly Hip Hop 90.7 FM in the Peoria, IL area. DJ3W broadcasts a second version of the show live on Sunday afternoons at 4 PM for WFNK Radio, an internet radio station out of Northeast Pennsylvania. The show is syndicated on multiple internet radio stations. It's also available for streaming through the Godify phone application and at Mixcloud.com/WaterWalkinWarrior.

“This has been an absolute dream come true over the last 10 years. I’m grateful to God for granting me the opportunity and platforms to promote Jesus Christ through music. I give thanks to my wife for continued support, the DJ’s and artists that have made it possible, and everyone that has listened and encouraged me along the way. My desire is to keep growing and glorifying God this way until He says to do something else,” DJ3W said.
