Scriptures: Mark: 9:24 , James 1: 6-8

Context & Application:: (Mark 9:24) – I do believe, but help my unbelief ( Application – God promises us certain things and gives us conformations and opens doors. Sometimes they take so long we stop believing in what he says. One main struggle is that we give up on it and forget about it to a point we may not even want it anymore.)

James 1:6-8 – Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind (Application – When we hear God we sometimes waver because it takes to long. Even in my personal walk I do believe what God says, but at the same time I want to waver because I feel I’m not worthy of it. He says don’t waver so I or you as the reader shouldn’t . His word won’t turn back to him void.

Devotional:

Daily we walk with christ but also face everyday struggles. For example we get prophesied words, promises etc but when we live and breathe we see none of it coming to pass. Even the small things we write them off as coincidences, when in fact they come from God and shows he heard us. I’ve been shown marriage , business ideas or even dealings and a nw life, and at a time I’ve seen none off that. To be honest I still down see it but I know not to waver even though I want to. Im better off giving up if I’m being honest. But because God’s great work is to be finished in me as well as you ( the reader) we don’t give up and we keep going until his work is complete.

Reflection Prompt:

Tell God what you are struggling with and speak to him without judgement. Treat him like you would a journal that nobody would read except you. Give him your honest thoughts and as you feel him speak , write down what he says and also use a bible verse to connect with what you spoke to him.
