Our 1st Annual Trade Training Day and Service Day for Youth was an amazing success. approximately 30 young people came out this MLK Day is a day I will never forget 30 young men and a few young ladies gathered together and learned trades, including carpentry, flooring, and Electrical with a real estate workshop during lunch. This was part of our Jesus Therapy COOP Sport/Arts Center & Living Facility for Risk Youth at New Covenant Church of Philadelphia.

I saw young people’s lives transformed light bulbs going off all for The Glory of God. Big ups to all the contractors (plumbers, electricians, painters, Demotion, and flooring) that came out and volunteered and sowed their time into our youth to teach them a trade and to all our staff present, and most importantly, to the young people who showed up and showed out. The day was capped with a long game of basketball. All the work that was being done was on our Sports/Arts Center & Living Facility for @Risk Youth.
