Holy Culture To Honor The Passing of DJ I Rock

DJ I Rock Jesus went to be with the Lord this week. Holy Culture is mourning the loss of a brother but celebrating the legacy of a CHH giant.

He was the epitome of a life transformed by the grace and love of God, and his faithfulness was a testament for all to behold. Even after great personal losses, including the loss of his wife Renee, I Rock stayed dedicated to his craft, believing it remained a powerful tool for leading others to Christ.

To honor his life and impact, Holy Culture will dedicate an entire weekend to celebrating the man, the ministry, and the music. On Friday, the station will host a 24-hour DJ IROCKJESUS Mix Takeover, featuring one mix every hour with no hosted shows—just wall-to-wall mixes that reflect his excellence, passion, and unmistakable sound. Testimonials and tribute bumpers will be woven throughout the day, creating space to reflect on the memories, the moments, and the movement he helped build.

On Saturday at 8 PM—his regular Holy Culture Radio time slot—the community will gather once again for a special tribute roundtable in his honor. The conversation will reflect on first memories of I Rock, what made him different as a DJ, who he was beyond the mic, his impact on Holy Culture, and the legacy he leaves behind.

This weekend is a celebration of faith, perseverance, and a life that pointed countless people to Christ.
