Day 15 | Aligning Goals With God

Today’s Scripture:
“Delight thyself also in the LORD; And he shall give thee the desires of thine
heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; Trust also in him; And he shall bring it to
pass.” Psalm 37:4-5 KJV

Message:
Have you ever made up your mind to do something without consulting God 1st?
Whether it’s a new relationship, a job, launching a business, recording a project,
or purchasing a new car or home. When we make plans without involving God,
but then decide to slap HIS name on it, that doesn’t mean what you’re doing is
aligned to HIS plan and purpose for you or your life.

What tends to happen in those moments is we fail first, and then we get upset with HIM, as if it’s HIS fault. “Delight thyself also in the Lord.” Before making any decisions or moves,
make sure HE is right there with you every step of the way. When you’re in a
relationship with Him, you will include HIM in everything. You’ll begin to shift
your way to HIS, and through your commitment to HIM, your trust in HIM will be
greater.

As a result of your commitment/trust in HIM and HIS plan, your desires
will begin to align with HIS. When they do, there is no way you won’t be blessed
beyond measure. Do it HIS way…it’s the best way!

Prayer:
Lord help me to seek you in all areas and facets of my life. Help me to commit
and align my ways to yours. Lord I wholeheartedly trust YOU and know that my
life is Blessed when I delight in, remain committed to YOU and YOU will bring it
to pass.
