Lathan Warlick & Matt Cooper Collab in Highs & Lows
Published on April 1, 2026
Lathan Warlick, who is redefining genres with his unique fusion of hip-hop, country, and
gospel, has partnered with rising country artist Matt Cooper to release “Highs & Lows
(Remix).” The remix is an inspiring reinvention of Cooper’s acclaimed debut single on Quartz Hill
Records, which skyrocketed to become the No. 1 Most Added Song at U.S. Country
Radio (Mediabase) out-of-the-box and is currently climbing the charts.
Like Cooper, Warlick draws inspiration from multiple genres, and by inviting Warlick’s
faith-based rapping into a soundscape that already includes elements of country,
Americana and roots-pop, Cooper underscores the song’s core message of finding
strength in each other, as well as in God. “It’s an amazing song,” says Warlick. “Matt already killed it on the original, and when he called me for the remix, I had to jump on it because I wanted to explain the highs and lows of life for other people who’ve told me their stories, and I had my own story too.”
“Highs & Lows (Remix)” was co-written by Cooper and Warlick and produced by
The720.
