P.I.D.’s “FAVOR” Out Today!

Published on March 29, 2024

Favor is not something we think of as perpetual; more like specific moments in time. Yet P.I.D. has expertly crafted their latest project, “Favor,” from three different perspectives to prove the contrary; in every moment, there are treasures of favor waiting to be unpacked- ready to give praise to our Lord who gives freely to those who seek His face.

If you’ve ever met Fred Lynch, you know he radiates joy, always welcoming friends or strangers with a smile in an effortless manner. If pressed, Fred would never contribute his happiness to fleeting external circumstances- no, with a twinkle in his eye, he would claim it was supernatural. Favor from above supersedes positive thinking- blessings bestowed upon him from sins forgiven and shackles broken. His spirit, free of burden, can find peace in the One who set him free.

Bound by literal chains, King Solomon J bargains with God for deliverance from his plight. Facing the darkest moment in his life, he wrestled with his demons and doubt, refusing to succumb to hopelessness. Embracing Psalm 46:10, he learned to be still and find liberation not in his physical state but in surrendering his struggles to Him, who conquers all. Favor was being free in God, a beacon of hope to those who had lost their way.

Ace One is the closer, the messenger on a mission, words flowing like a river of truth, dispelling misconceptions and washing away seeds of doubt planted by the evil one. Every rhyme and lyric proclaims the transformative power of God’s favor, a force beyond comprehension, a catalyst for change. He challenged skeptics to look beyond the surface, their every breath a testament to God’s goodness- the very God they question and test.

All three stories intertwined perfectly, a chorus of voices declaring we are all covered by the blood. Blessed and highly favored with flavors of blessings that color our very existence for the better. They stood tall, no longer bound by fear or doubt, united by the undeniable presence of favor in their lives. Their testimonies a symphony of hope- proof that in Christ there is always light in the dark.
