Trending With The Lord

OH YEAH (Orville Wright) has been trending throughout the year for the Lord in his recent works. Numerous publications have highlighted his decision to step away from general Hip-Hop, and focus on delivery of God-fearing discipline in his music. Powerful messages are becoming the trend in the music that he has released this year, challenging listeners to get to know God more personally.

OH YEAH mentioned in an earlier interview, in February, about his decision to devote his skills more for the church family. In the article, he references HEBREWS 11, for which he combats doubt and uncertainty with. The complete interview can be found here:

In a more recent interview, OH YEAH references his Gospel Rap album as his profession of faith in God. The album is entitled “The Pursuit of Godliness”. The album was released around the time that he also became a member of The Recording Academy. On his instagram page, he pointed out it’s opportunity to be nominated, if considered, for a Grammy.

The album landed a feature in The Source Magazine, 24HipHop, as well as LA Weekly. The message still stands, as a reminder, to give God the Glory.

The three articles deliver redirects to his latest Music Videos “Hot Pursuit”. He soon after, published the music video for “NLWY” (No Limit With You) on his YouTube channel.

He mentioned that soon after his double track release from the album, he lost a subscriber. He laughed that off, however, noting that the occurance is a small sacrifice for the Kingdom. As many believers know, for the name of Jesus, we will be hated for the name of the Lord (Matthew 10:22). OH YEAH said that he would continue on as instructed.
