carnivalpopulation_of_invisible_people200christianraphiphopnewsYoungstown, OH hip-hop veterans, Carnival are preparing for their new album, “Population Of Invisible People” which will be releasing on July 28th 2009 through Infinity Music Distribution. The first radio single, “B.E.Z.” has been spinning on over 400 stations throughout the country and overseas on programs like the Hype Radio Network, Sound Of Light, as well as many non-reporting stations. “B.E.Z. is becoming one of our most requested songs and we are getting emails from all over the world with nothing but excitement to hear the rest of the album!” says Chris “C-Dub” Chicago the host of Hype Radio Network. “Carnival’s B.E.Z. is one of the freshest and catchiest tunes I’ve heard in a minute. They have such a different sound from most hip-hop artists I hear and the message is simple but, effective.” Adds Michael Williams of Xtreme Youth Alliance’s program, Sound of Light.

The leader of Carnival, Sean Robinson is no stranger to success he had a guest vocal spot on New Harvest’s 2008 Dove Award nominated Urban Gospel Song of the Year song, “I Can.” Carnival are also gearing up to perform at festivals this summer; the first of which is the Ichthus Festival in Wilmore, KY on June 10-13th which this year is the 40th anniversary of the festival. Then, the Issachar Conference in Chesapeake, VA on June 28th-July 1st where the group will perform with Tye Tribbet, Deitrick & Damita Haddon just to name a few. But, if that’s not staying busy enough the group is preparing to shoot a video for “B.E.Z.” in the coming weeks; more information on that later. Brandon Robinson of Carnival says, “This album is by far our best to date; the production is hot and the lyrics are blessed and anointed. It has no barriers, it’s not just for the church or just for the streets it’s for everyone with an ear to hear; and when people grab a hold of it that’s when Kingdom ministry begins.”
