New York (NY) – The 2023 Kingdom Choice Awards weekend is shaping up to be nothing short of an absolute extravaganza! Artists, industry movers, and patrons from all over the country will be heading to New York City for the biggest weekend in Christian Hip Hop on the East Coast.

The KCA weekend will kick off on Friday, September 29th, with the highly anticipated Pre-Show event, “So You Think You Got Barz?” which will take place live from Church City USA in Jamaica, Queens. 8 contestants will display their lyrical skills and compete for a prize package which includes a performance slot on the KCA main stage the following day.

The following day, Saturday, September 30th, all roads lead to Broadway, New York City, for the main event, KCA 2023! 13 categories will be presented along with two honorary award presentations. There will be live performances by some of the best CHH and Urban Gospel artists in the nation! Artists such as 1K Phew, Scootie Wop, Emcee N.I.C.E, Shari, and Cru Alxndr will be making their KCA debuts. Miles Minnick will be back by popular demand and there will be a host of other top tier artists who will be hitting the KCA stage.

The 2023 KCA honorary recipients will be CHH legend, Brinson of Godchaserz Entertainment and Kingdom visionary, James ‘Trig’ Rosseau, CEO of Holy Culture Radio.
