Memphis Rapper ENZ Releases Lyrical EP

Published on September 7, 2023

From the streets of Memphis comes a Christian rapper, preacher, radio dj, & activist going by the name of ENZ aka Pastor Dante, the Pastor of Memphis’ notorious Trap Church. It was after spending time behind bars, a testimony in itself, that ENZ accepted the gospel, gave his life to God, and left the streets. Or did he? The Christian rapper stayed in the streets, but this time not selling dope but selling Christ. ENZ started a street ministry, which is now known as the Trap Church, and now ministers to dealers, drug addicts, pimps & 304s. He says, don’t send me your saved Christians; send me the sinners. He even has taken this message to his weekly radio broadcast show, where he plays and features today’s hottest CHH music. With the recent release of his own new CHH project, “I’m Sorry,” ENZ tells the story of the lure of and subsequent redemption from the streets. His storytelling is raw and tells of his experiences and how Christ can save even the chief sinner, which makes his rapping message different and unique from other CHH artists. His vocal delivery and hard hitting tracks will immediately draw a comparison to the distinctive Memphis sound known as Memphis hip hop or Memphis horrorcore. Lyrical connoisseurs and listers will enjoy the ordained preaching rapper’s lyrical book that is this EP.
