Earlier this month Netflix announce the premiere of their new three-part docuseries Testament: The Story of Moses. Narrated by Game of Thrones star Charles Dance, the series premieres on March 27 and chronicles the journey of one of the most celebrated biblical figures from exile to freedom fighter.

This is not your mothers Ten Commandments story, rather it’s a deep dive into Moses’s personal story of redemption. The show promises to shed light on the prophets’ struggle with his own identity and self-doubt, offering the audience an authentic connection with one of the most beloved men in history.
