adamariz releases inspirational track: LIFT ME UP (I’M CHOSEN)

Published on February 22, 2024

adamariz drops the first single from her upcoming album, which is currently unnamed and the release date is also unknown. “LIFT ME UP (I’M CHOSEN)”, produced by okaywarren is a song about sharing her current struggles to past ones, adamariz doesn’t shy away from who is helping her. She takes us on a journey, as we enter we see defensive adamariz, acknowledging that maybe she does have a conflictive past. We then discuss college, and whether or not it’s the right choice for her. Adamariz sidetracks however, and delves into why she started rapping in the first place. The song makes a sharp turn into hypocrisy, which adamariz has been speaking on consistently. Adamariz admits, rapping is not a fame chasing thing for her, she simply writes her life and hopes others find freedom in Christ like she has. This song ends with a battle adamariz has been struggling in her mind with, “the end is near…and I don’t know if I’m going”. Followed up by, “wait a second, just remembered I’m chosen”. We see that adamariz is reflecting on her life, evaluating if she will or will not go to heaven. She also knows that she was called to make music, and as long as she is walking in her purpose, any lies from the enemy or negative thoughts in general become void. This song isn’t a cry for help to people, but a prayer to God. At the end adamariz leaves us reciting the words “I’m chosen”. Despite our mistakes and shortcomings, God still calls us and we are chosen!
