adamariz releases SOLO TU, the first Spanish Single from her upcoming album

Published on June 27, 2024

adamariz starts out Spanish Summer, with a song that almost feels melancholy, but is actually more of an upbeat song proclaiming the one who deserves all the honor! “SOLO TU” or “ONLY YOU”, is a predominantly Spanish song, and 3rd to last single from the album, which boasts over 25 stacked tracks, according to her Instagram Broadcast Channel. This song blends worship and Reggeaton, which seems to be a theme throughout the upcoming album. In the verses she discusses moments in her youth where she felt far from God, and was betrayed by many, only to find God and get closer to Him. Now whether she is surrounded by people or alone, she stands firm in her faith. This is also a recurring theme in the upcoming album. FAITH and the act of being lost and found, which she touches in a unique way but in Spanish on “SOLO TU”. Adamariz felt God spoke to her personally through the creation of the song and knew it was for someone else as well. She reached out to frequent collaborator and engineer, Jericko for a beat. This process became more stressful than anticipated as Jericko sent adamariz around 5 beats before adamariz finally said “this is the one”. This was unusual as adamariz and Jericko have worked frequently and he has always come through on creating the beat adamariz had in mind. One of the throwaway beats was actually used in next month’s singles “AGRADECIDA”. Once the beat was finished adamariz had it tweaked and began the recording process. Although the flow remained somewhat the same as an original demo on another beat, it varied in the hook mainly which took her the longest to get where she wanted it. As adamariz switches back and forth between English and Spanish, we hear the passion she has for the lyrics she is singing and rapping. The song also transitions back into itself as a symbol that God is the one she relies ons all the time.
