EJ THE MIMER: The Introduction
In this episode of King Legend Talks, host King Legend 757 sits down with EJ The Mimer, a 23-year-old creative who has learned to let his actions speak louder than words. Known for his powerful mime performances, EJ uses movement, expression, and faith to share the gospel and reach hearts across generations. What unfolds is not just a discussion about art, but a testimony about calling, obedience, and what it truly means to serve God through one’s gifts.
Finding Purpose in Silence
EJ’s story began in a family full of dancers. As a child, he was surrounded by rhythm, music, and joy, but when he joined his church choir, he discovered that singing wasn’t where his gift truly shined. Everything changed when he witnessed a mime minister perform at church—face painted, hands moving with purpose, every gesture charged with meaning. In that moment, he knew he had found his calling.
After giving his life to Christ, EJ began developing his craft, turning his love of dance into a vessel for ministry. Over the past 15 years, he has ministered through mime in countless churches and events, each experience different from the last. He describes mime not as a performance, but as prayer in motion—an intimate way of communicating with God and His people.
When the pandemic shut down churches and in-person gatherings, EJ’s commitment was tested. He turned to God for direction, asking if this was truly what he was called to do. The answer was clear. Through virtual services and online performances, EJ continued to minister. That consistency not only sustained his ministry, but expanded it, leading to new connections, interviews, and opportunities to reach people far beyond his local community.
The Heart Behind the Movement
Mime may be silent, but EJ’s purpose is full of sound conviction. He expresses emotion and faith through movement, bringing the gospel to people who may never step foot in a church. Each performance carries a message that invites reflection, conviction, and healing.
His confidence didn’t come overnight. He credits much of his growth to a mentor named Ms. Michelle, who recognized his potential and taught him how to minister with passion and authenticity. She gave him his first solo, helped him develop his stage presence, and instilled in him the confidence to minister boldly. After she passed, EJ’s mother stepped into leadership of their church’s mime ministry, with EJ now assisting her in teaching both youth and adults.
EJ’s family continues to be his foundation. His grandmother and brother are both active in the ministry, and their unity keeps him grounded. His online supporters also play a big role. With over sixteen thousand followers on TikTok, EJ often receives encouragement from those touched by his videos. He refers to them not as fans, but as supporters—people who motivate him to keep going when times are tough.
Faith, Unity, and the Word
Throughout the conversation, EJ talks about his love for unity and his desire to build bridges between people of different beliefs. His church welcomes everyone with open arms and avoids judgment, focusing on sharing God’s love.
King Legend, always thoughtful and grounded in scripture, leans into that discussion to emphasize the importance of biblical truth. He reminds listeners that while love and unity are vital, the Bible remains the final authority for believers. Their exchange is open and respectful, demonstrating how faith-based dialogue can balance compassion with conviction. Together, they model what it means to stand firm in faith while still extending grace to others.
Walking Boldly in Purpose
As the episode draws to a close, King Legend shares how his own near-death experience taught him that life’s true value lies in serving God and reaching souls. Everything else, he says, is temporary. What we do for the Lord is what lasts.
EJ echoes that passion in his own words, describing his ministry as high energy and fully devoted. He strives to give more than what people expect, pouring everything he has into each performance.
The episode ends with prayer, a powerful moment of gratitude, surrender, and brotherhood. It reflects the essence of King Legend Talks: using testimony, truth, and talent to glorify God. Together, King Legend and EJ remind listeners that purpose doesn’t always require a platform or a microphone. Sometimes, it’s painted on a face, expressed through movement, and spoken through silence.
