It could not be stated with more clarity to bring the people the power of God. “Power to the People” is another single from Osaze’s studio album Midnight.

One of the opening lines of this song by Osaze says “Bring power to the people while bringing people to power”. This is something he feels his community instilled in him. In the ancient text of Proverbs, it reads, “Like a snow-cooled drink at harvest time is a trustworthy messenger to the one who sends him; he refreshes the spirit of his master.” Proverbs25:13

Taking a message, or a gift to people is sacred and it matters that the people know you are not the gift giver yourself, you are just a steward. The last line of the song says “You’re (God) the cure, we the doctors for the uninsured…Go!” Meaning we go to the people because we are sent with the cure. Be a part of the solution that brings power to the people, while bringing people to power.
