Petrina Delacey drops “I can breathe”

LOS ANGELES, CA — CHH, and R&B artist Petrina DeLacey has released her new single, “I CAN BREATHE,” alongside its official music video, a project she produced, recorded, and edited herself.

An anthem of freedom, “I CAN BREATHE” captures the carefree peace and joy that come from walking in purpose with Christ. Blending catchy pop melodies with an upbeat, club-inspired sound, the track celebrates the freedom found in faith and invites listeners to dance, let go, and enjoy the moment.

“This one is personal,” says DeLacey. “I’m really proud of the production and the cinematic vision behind this video. This is my first release since putting out my two albums, CAREFREE and PRETTY GIRLS LOVE JESUS. I wanted to come back strong with this new pop and club sound I’ve been pursuing. I also wanted to challenge myself and prove that I could push beyond my limits and create this sound on my own.”

The release is followed by her September single, “wanna be at peace tonight,” and her October collaboration, “GOD’S COOKING UP,” with her husband and fellow artist JBthaPreacher. The two also perform together at events throughout Los Angeles.

With “I CAN BREATHE,” DeLacey continues to explore her evolving sound while creating music that brings together faith, freedom, and feel-good energy.
